Mary Elin, Mary Elin
Mary Elin, Mary Elin
I thank Zeus you called
My doors are froze shut
And my car, it just stalled
The wind is a’ howling
Snow’s up past my knees
I think I’ve acquired
A feral disease
To work I live close
And surely could walk
But my doctors have warned me
"Stay away from that chalk"
Besides, as you know,
We all need a rest
From doing up grades
And correcting those tests |
by John H Thomas Jr
There’s no work today
I’ll have me a ball
Right now I don’t care
If we work straight till fall
Soooooooo
Mary Elin, Mary Elin
Please call me, again
Be it two in the morning
It matters not when
